Starstruck's

FIN* Starstruck's is a small Finnish cattery for Russian Blue cats in Vantaa (Helsinki area). The cattery has a new litter once a year or so from well-thought combinations. At the moment, the cattery has four inhabitants, all of which are retired: Silverklon's Bluebell, Wildtbergs Reca Wolga, Kuunkajon Candelifera and Jumillas Born To Run. At the moment, we have leasing cats to continue the lines.

As a breeder, my objective is to bring to the world curious and affectionate Russian Blues which adhere to the breed standards. In the appearance, I emphasize medium blue coat with great tipping, elegant but muscular body and green eyes. When planning a litter, the character of the male, his pedigree and especially his low use in breeding are of greatest importance. As the demand for different males is high, I would like nothing better than to see some offspring of my cats to be used for breeding as well.

Cat shows are a natural part of the breeding activity. A cat show is not only a great place to meet other 'cat people' but also a valuable source of information for all cat owners and breeders. And, of course, a certificate once in a while does not hurt either! Although my ambition is to find some promising kittens a home that shares my interest in the breeding and/or the cat shows, the most important thing is always to find a loving home that can offer the kitten a secure and stimulating living environment for the rest of its life.
